so here is my week ... i have three tests this week. i've already had one and will have the other two on thursday and friday. i had to turn in a physics lab report on monday and i have to turn in chemistry homework today. i have a sorority lunch today at noon at texas expresson and i have to go to my church thing at st. austin today from 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm.

after my test and chemistry class on firday, i am going with jordan to acl. i am pretty excited. but i am a little annoyed ... (this next part is going to be gross for most people, if not all ...) i think i am about to start me period soon. i have been wearing a pad for the last couple of days in preparation for the event this ... so, i was looking at the map to zilker park and they marked every little detail except for the restrooms which makes me think that there may be none to speak of ... so, what am i supposed to do? hopefully my period will start today and then taper off by friday ... ugh i am gross and i hate periods. also, i think that there should be some sort of warning when that time of the month comes ... i mean i know that they say that getting bloated and irritable are the signs but i am always like that.

i am gross, gross, gross.

damn you aunt flo for not calling first and scheduling your visit!

weird weekend ...

me, jordan and his little sister, lauren, went to memorial city mall this past weekend and while we were in XXI, this girl fell/had a seizure right in front of us. she chipped her front tooth on the counter and busted her lip. she bled EVERYWHERE. it was so shocking that we had to leave. but, not until i accidentally put my arm in a puddle of her blood and had to go wash my arm in the bathroom in the food court where some woman waiting to wash her hands says to her friend, "what is wrong with that girl? why is she washing her arm?" she was very impatient.

after that, jordan and i went to ikea for a meatball lunch while lauren ate a hot dog from the downstairs food area. then we went to gallery furniture where we got free ice cream and jordan got a basketball and a sweatshirt that is really ugly. then we went to the galleria to look for a wallet ... i didn't find one ... then we went to wish to try and find something to spend my stupid wish gift certificate on ... didn't find anything. then we went to academy where jordan bought nothing ... then house of pies, borders, and whole foods.

i got cute nested snack boxes at borders and i got a sheet of stickers. i also got jordan monster's ball ...

oh, on the way to house of pies, this woman honked at me and a driving war ensued ... i think i won.

didn't do anything on sunday except take my test ... it was ok ... not great. then i sat at home and ordered stuff online from e.l.f. which is the best online store EVER. then i cleaned my room because jennifer came to visit. she is still here ... probably sleeping ... lucky duck.

not much of a post today. mostly elipses but i'm not really in the mood to blog. i have a ton of chapters to study. also, i am really tired and i am already done with all my lab work for the day.

still waiting for my avon package and now i am waiting for my e.l.f. package!

hi hi hi and early morning to all you avid readers of this humble blog ...

i got to work bright and early and my dad just tried to take some of my blood for someone's experiment today and it was unsuccessful ... he pricked me the first time and got only under the skin but not to the vein. then he tried the other arm but apparently my veins are terrible. then he just decided to use the same arm and vein again. the second time he pricked me he got to the vein but only a little bit of blood came out. so then he decided to give up. i got a bandaid but it is just a plain one ... not a cool designer one that you usually get when you go to the doctor and get blood taken. so, anyway, i still get the money even though he didn't get the blood ... maybe i'm a vampire.

in other news, i called jen last night to tell her about this website that jordan's mom found that lists all these companies that owe people money and the companies post the names and addresses of people they owe on it so that people can claim whatever money that is involved ... anyway, i looked up my last name and it turns out that jen was listed and utmb owed her $106.54 from 2006. needless to say, my little money-grubbing brain made her claim it immediately.

also on that call, jen told me that she is starting a new blog and trying out that adsense as a way to make some money. she figured that someone's personal blog wouldn't make much revenue so she decided to write a new blog about pet care ... something that she knows about. anyway, i am going to be writting the bunny page because i have kobe and jen said that i would more about caring for a bunny friend better than her.

so, i will be splitting my time now between the new blog and this one ... i'm actually pretty excited because now i have an assignment and i feel like a reporter ... i have to keep the general format of jen's design but i think i will put up an album of kobe on the site.

let me just preface this by saying that i hate driving and i have been spoiled and rarely drive in austin or houston. after today's driving adventures, i now have a list of complaints concerning my fellow drivers that explains why i avoid driving at all costs ...

- driving in one lane while having a whole tire in the next lane

- lane switches that take more than 30 seconds

- honking at other drivers when you are at fault

- having no lights on even when it is dark out and drizzling

- having a flat but refusing to pull over but instead driving 5 mph on it

- having double blinkers on while driving at least 20 miles over the speed limit

the driver of a white 2007 toyota camry with the license plate Y74 NTX is on my list of irritating drivers ...

hammie update:

the hammies are looking great despite the bloody fiasco. zuzu is now bigger than petri and is a lot more outgoing. she enjoys sleeping outside the hammie igloo on her back! also she loves kix sooo much that once she gets her furry little paws on a morsel, she won't let go even if i raise her off the hammie cage floor ... petri is feisty and likes to pick on zuzu for her half eaten kix since most of the time she is too shy to get a kix from my hand herself. zuzu is a victim of petri's attacks at least once a day ... poor zuzu

hammie update: 

last night i went to zuzu's and petri's cage to feed them each a kix and noticed that there was a pretty huge blood droplet (relative to hammie size) on the wood plank that has their wheels hammered on it ... then i saw that one of the wheels (they have two - so they can run in tandem) had tiny drops of blood inside like one of them was bleeding and then ran in the wheel ... it was just a smattering of blood evenly all in the wheel. 

zuzu was eating in her food bowl and the other behbeh was sleeping (like usual) in the cushy cabin. i called the pet whisperer and she said that i should move the cabin to see petri and see if she was hurt. i looked at both of them and they looked fine ... the question remains, which one was bleeding and why was she bleeding?
