ANTI-HOLY WEEK COMICS

First things first ... I got an email today from sSoryville with my earnings statement ... I sold two pairs of earrings (not great) but still I made $7.70 ... I don't think that's great but it's something I guess.

Another thing I wanted to blog about (not necessarily for anyone in particular, but mainly so that I can remember this for myself) is Holy Week. This is my first Holy Week ever. I don't know if this is annoying anyone who is reading this because I have to confess that sometimes when I read other people's writings about God and religion, I feel like it's a little hokey ... if this is annoying you, please stop reading so you don't start resenting me ...

[BREAK]

So I stopped writing the above because I was tired and didn't want to think about how to put down in words the things that I wanted to say ... I got on today to continue but something is bothering me so much that I just have to blog about that and not the previous thing.

Why is it so much more accepted to be anti-Christian than to be anti-Semitic? Recently, there have been a couple of comics in The Daily Texan that has made me feel offended. I don't even know how to describe them. They do not "target" Christianity in an outwardly mean way but they do mock it.

[BREAK]

Anyway, I do not want to post anymore ... the comics may offend me but they do not change impact anything that I am doing in my own life. It's just an opinion that is in bad taste.
