this is the bread section of a local super market. this is my favorite section. they have all these different flavors and toppings and they are so good.
this is aaron me and jen finally needing some mcdonald's food. we had been in taiwan for about 3 or 4 days and we had to have some american food. the cute thing is that the workers actually line up your food all nicely instead of just throwing it all on the tray. also aaron managed to order himself an apple pie despite his lack of language.
these are the typical public toilets. they are so gross. back in the day, you could only find these and not the normal american one. but, now that time has passed you can find both these hole in the ground and the normal commodes. jen and aaron seemed to like the holes. i did not. i didn't use the hole once while i was there. also there was always no line for the commodes and a five person line to use the holes. how weird.
this is a puppy that was at a museum that we visited. he fell into their pond the night before and just started living there. he is really sweet. he let up pick him up and he followed us around. i really wanted to take him home.
