it's been a long time since i blogged. i have a pretty stressful week ahead of me. i have a psychology test on thursday and a psychology paper due on friday. i also have physics homework due on thursday and an exam coming up next week for that ...

but, i had a really good weekend. jordan's family evacuated because of the storm so i got to hang out with tyler and lauren. also, they brought bob. they decided to leave him with jordan for a little bit because they can't really take care of him on top of cleaning up the house and stuff.

this sunday was also me and jordan's anniversary. we got up early and had mcdonald's breakfast before church. the food was actually pretty terrible. i think the mcdonald's on mlk blvd. is terrible. i try to not eat at that one too often. their drinks were even nasty.

oh but i got to open my anniversary gifts (yes, gifts) on saturday night at midnight ... they are great.

i got two pairs of earrings that i had been wanting for a while. they are of mickey and minnie mouse. i didn't really like them as a child but they are just so cute. at the moment, i am wearing minnie on my left ear lobe and mickey on my right. mickey is slightly larger than minnie but it is cute.

i also got a pocket knife. it is a red swiss army one. every time i see one at target or academy or sports authority, i tell jordan about how aaron gets jenny pocket knives ... anyway, i have recently begun to feel a little unsafe being by myself at nights. i am sure it is nothing but me getting nervous. but, jordan got me a knife to sink into anybody who comes near me when it is dark. he wasn't sure if it was sharp so when he opened it for me he pressed his finger on the blade (the serrated blade) and sure enough, blood started to bloom out of a think cut on his thumb. so, i am sure it is sharp enough to jam into someone's torso.

i got a book about karma that jordan thought was interesting and has like 8,000 ways to improve your karma. i think jordan is worried about my soul going to hell. anyway it is pretty cool and i think we are going to start working on that list.

what else ...

i got a sheet of wizard of oz stickers that are really cool looking and jordan got me the book "baby bear, baby bear, what do you see?" it was pretty cute. he read me the book and then i got the last present which was a stuffed animal made to look like baby bear.

it was all really nice and cute. it was a really nice anniversary present.

back to sunday. after church, we went back to his apartment to do homework for a couple of hours. when we got hungry, me and jordan went to cheddar's. it was pretty yummy except we went to the one that jordan interviewed at and thought he would work at but the manager never called back even though he made it sound like jordan was a shoe in. anyway, the new hires were working and the guy that we had was terrible. he had hair like samwise gamgee (from lord of the rings) and was super slow and dumb. we ordered croissants and he said that they were going to be out of them for the next ten minutes and asked if we could wait. we waited for like 20 minutes until he came around again and i asked him pointedly if the croissants were ready. we didn't get the croissants until after we finished our salads and our main dishes came up. he was also terrible at refilling the drinks and you know how fast jordan drinks tea. anyway, we left a lousy tip.

after eating, we went to the nearby target so i could pick up some graphing paper for my physics lab and i ended up having explosive diarrhea. it wasn't that bad. but, you know how i hate going in public bathrooms. anyway, we got back to jordan's apartment and jordan finished his homework while i watched t.v. and took a nap. then i got up and went to the gym with jordan and worked on my homework. i stayed up until 3 am doing my physics lab report. i probably could have finished earlier if i didn't take that nap in the middle.

also, i am working on jennifer's 25th birthday present. i want it to be really good because it would suck if her present was worse than jordan's wisdom teeth care package. so far, i have two items. if any of y'all have any ideas about what she would like, please let me know.
