so since i am in my last few days of work and i have no more chemistry work to do, i can basically spend all my free time blogging without guilt!! yay! so, i should warn everyone that the next week or two of blogging will get boring fast ... because how much can you say about anything when you sit in the back room of a lab in the basement of a building? 

but, i did find this website or blog-type thing ... it is hilarious and apparently all true (according to a recent facebook post that was not on my wall ... yes i was a-creeping on facebook). i will go through all of them and make sure that they are personally true for the two main white people in my life ... jordan and aaron.

1. coffee 

jordan likes java chip frappaccinos from starbucks ... does that make him asian? i mean my mom LOVES iced coffees and she is asian ... does that mean that my mom = jordan?! i have never seen aaron drink any sort of coffee ... i know that he drinks water out of his morning coffee tumbler ... 

2. religions that their parents don't belong to

generally i would say this is true ... but i will rule this UNTRUE because both aaron and jordan are still the same religion as their parents. i suppose this is only true for pretentious white people. 

3. film festivals

i will deem this true ... but only by default ... fact #1 and #2 are what got me ... i mean aaron was a radio-film-television major ... and jordan is taking an RTF class this semester ... but i will say that jordan loved the new batman and i think both aaron and jordan don't really like foreign films ... 

4. assists

TRUE!! haha this one is terrific! i am not totally sure if this is true with jordan's playing style ... actually i am sure that it is not true for him personally (because he dunks a lot ... he is essentially the eminem of basketball) but i do watch enough basketball to know that a white dunker is rare ... 

5. farmers markets

UNTRUE. jordan shops at walmart for food and aaron shops at heb ... i don't think either of them have been to a farmers market ... this must only pertain to the pretentious ones again ... 

6. organic foods 

UNTRUE. see #5 ... also, jordan likes to shop at whole foods a lot but he never buys organic food. i suppose it doesn't make much sense for him to like whole foods so much. but he likes the desserts ... 

7. diversity

i thought this was going to be a HUGE TRUE ... because jordan and aaron are dating me and my sister ... respectively. but this is actually a UNTRUE. jordan likes to try new things but will talk about it for months after the fact. he tried a tiny nibble of sushi and then called his parents to tell them about the three new things he tried ... the sushi (itself), seaweed, and caviar ... yes, he split it into three things. also, he didn't like it. aaron is more adventurous about his eating but i don't think this one applies enough to merit a true verdict. 

8. barack obama

um ... this will be a split. me and jordan like(d) hilary ... but aaron and jen like(s) obama.

9. making you feel bad about not going outside

UNTRUE. aaron and jordan would both happily spend an entire day indoors playing video games and watching sports ... this must be for the pretentious ones again ... you know the ones who shop at REI for really nice and expensive tents for when they want to "rough it."

10. wes anderson movies

TRUE. this is more aaron than jordan but jordan always comments about how rushmore was filmed at my high school when we drive by it ... also, wes anderson DID go to ut austin ... so we kind of HAVE to like him or it would be blasphemy. 

11. asian girls

first let me say that i am not sure if this insults me ... i am offended but i don't know why. see if you can figure it out ... but this is TRUE, TRUE, TRUE! you need evidence? aaron is married to my sister and jordan puts up with my shit all the time. there you go. case closed. 

12. non-profit organizations

untrue ... i think this is for the rich white people with money to spare. can you really make six figures?! omg ...

13. tea

no. untrue. this is for the pretentious ones. 

14. having black friends

this is true for jordan because he likes to have competition when he plays basketball and the indians and the asians are not really up to par ... (yes i did pull out the sports terms) ... i am going to rule this a true all around because i do not know many of aaron's friends. i have only met three and they were not black but he does like obama ...

15. yoga

UNTRUE ... but jordan has been nagging me about taking yoga while he is in basketball class ... i think this is more of him not wanting to date a fatty ... 

16. gifted children

i have no idea about this one ... neither jordan or aaron have kids so i have no idea if they would be offended if someone suggested that their future offspring were dumb ... i will say that this is UNTRUE because i cannot see aaron or jordan babying their children. i think they will call it as they see it. 

17. hating their parents

untrue. this is more me and jennifer ... actually more me.

18. awareness

untrue. this is for the rich-ys. 

i am pretty tired of doing this ... especially since most of them are untrue. i mean they seem that they would be true but they just don't relate to jordan and aaron that well ...
