symptoms ...
1. throbbing pain
2. foul taste or odor
3. enlarged lymph nodes
4. exposed bone
so i have throbbing pain but it has been getting better over the past few days and i obviously have the foul taste because of the medicated gauze sewed in my gums ... my face is swollen but i don't think it is my lymph nodes ... and exposed bone ... how am i supposed to see that?! also, shouldn't a symptom be ... BLEEDING?! i mean i am SURE i am not bleeding so ... everything should be ok, right? RIGHT?!
also i have a new reason to why being a girl is harder than being a boy ... according to wikipedia, "women are generally at higher risk than men of developing dry socket, because estrogen slows down healing." what the hell?! it's not hard enough that i bleed out of my butt every month but my hormones are working against me?!
oh but i got a cute text message from jordan ... he drove past utmb on the way to the water park and he secretly blew me a kiss ... isn't that so cute?! [in unison now ...] awwww ...

bleeding isn't a symptom because bone just gets exposed, the vessels are closed. and don't worry about the estrogen thing, i was even on bc when i got it done, which is extra estrogen, and i didn't get dry socket.
