i know what is wrong with bob. i researched it and he has what is called "pea eye" which is permanent and is thought to be inherited ... it can be removed by laser but since the guinea pigs do not seem to be uncomfortable, treatment is not usually necessary ... some guinea pigs who get this suddenly may have an eye injury or have some sort of fluid retention that is aggravating it ... but, since bob has had it for a really long time (presumably since birth) i don't think we have to worry about it ... poor bob ... that's the one thing making him not so cute.

also, i must talk to jordan tonight about the care he is giving bob. he told me not to give him any greens and only carrots. but i read that you should focus on giving greens and only a small carrot every other day ...
