so the title of this post should be ... jorts. i'm at another intramural game at gregory gym and who walks on the court today for the second game? the cast of the 1978 cult classic animal house ... all frat boys who are loud and shaking the bleachers. one of them is ass drunk and admitted to it and two walked in wearing jorts. yes, jorts. 

for those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "jorts" i have urban dictionary-ed it ... 

jorts: noun. cut-off denim shorts or "jean shorts" typically worn by homosexuals or florida panhandle hicks. 

i made jordan take a picture of them with his iphone. anyway, the rules state that players must wear athletic shorts meaning that playing in shorts is clearly in violation. the jort boys insisted that they could play in them and even went on the perform a series of stretches in front of their frat brothers. needless to say, they still had to change in order to play. so they started asking their brothers who would switch shorts with them and ended up having to pay $20 a piece to borrow some shorts. 

overheard at ... 

gregory gym in the annex on court 4 the night of january 29, 2008 at approximately 11:12 at night: "if i don't move, i might get towed but if i drive i might be violating my probation." stated a texas pike frat brother (the one who was ass drunk) who was wearing a camouflage hunting hat with a duck emblem on it. anyway it ended up that none of his brothers wanted to drive him and his car home because then they'd have to walk back to their place so the drunky drove himself home.
