i am a bad, bad blogger. i have not been on in over a month. i have not written or posted any pictures from my trip to taiwan. i have not written about my 21st birthday or about any of my new classes for the semester. i have also not blogged or posted pictures of my new baby bunny! i know, i know, it is unacceptable.

the reason i haven't posted pictures or written any blogs is that i am lazy and have not even downloaded any pictures on to my computer. my camera memory card is full and i can't even take any more pictures.

i will try to make up the lull in the next few posts but i cannot guarantee any pictures because it always takes too long to upload them into my iphoto application.

i will first blog about my classes and my schedule for this semester. i dropped all my premed classes and i amd just taking psychology and history classes. i am taking behavioral neuroscience, abnormal behavior, life span development, intro to american indian history, and american studies.

i love my abnormal behavior teacher ... all the other ones are just ok. my neuroscience professor is really hard to understand and i don't really enjoy his sense of humor. i think both my history teachers think they are hot stuff and extra smart when they are only normal smart in most things and above average in their field of study. i have a lot of reading already but i am all caught up.

me and jordan got a new baby bunny. it was more like i bothered jordan about getting him until he caved in and told me 'yes' just to shut me up. his name is shaq and is a dwarf dutch bunny. he is a boy (duh) and gets in fights with kobe. i never knew kobe was aggressive. but, shaq provokes him ... ah, the old lakers team is back with all the drama! shaq is uber friendly and loves carrots. he has a tiny belly and is cute.

jen and arron and dwight came to visit last weekend. it was awesome. jen just had a test and it was after my first week so the timing was perfect. we went to eat at a lot of places. jen brought jordan the game bully and jordan has not stopped playing it. when they left i was really sad. usually i am not sad ... i am not happy but i am also not really depressingly bummed when they leave. i was this time. i wish me and jen could live in the same city all the time because she is really fun to hang out with and she is one of the only people i am entirely comfortable with. i mean probably the only person. i mean i am comfortable with jordan but sometimes he doesn't understand where i am coming from without explanation. i really miss jen a lot. anyway, dwight met his new baby cousin and it turned out ok. shaq was really scared but later dwight licked him a couple of times.

on tuesday jordan's cousin, erin, came to visit. it was nice having another guest because it got my mind off missing jen and aaron and baby dwight. it was nice meeting her. she was so nice. we did a lot. we went to hill's cafe, amy's, the salt lick, 6th street, whole foods and a couple of other places. anyway, on 6th street, erin wanted to go to coyote ugly. it was 8:30 on a wednesday evening. and we were the only ones in there. i mean jordan had to wait outside. we went in and it was my first time in a bar ... there were girls on the bar. erin asked what was good hoping that they would say something that she recognized. but they only had whiskey specials so she asked if they had long island ice teas ... and they said yes. so, i thought that if they had that girly drink, i could ask for a margarita. so i did. then the waitress (who was asian) leaned down and said "asian, we don't serve that here." so then i said ... "i'll have what she's having." she also later asked my how "mom was" because we were both asian. but she is not my sister. the little hussy. we sat there for a song and then erin said that they probably think that we are lesbians. so i drank really fast to get out of there.

what else ...

i will write about my other stuff later. i have been blogging all class and i must pay attention now.

i have a paper due at my 9 am class. it's done but i don't know how good it is. i hate writing history papers because its really hard to present some new perspective on things that happened a really long time ago. anyway, it is done and that's what's important. the problem is that i forgot to staple my paper at home ... i hope someone has one in class.

in other news, i got an email from julia wertz (one of the girls i ordered mini comics from) and she said that packages should be mailed out soon ... i am pretty excited.

anyway, nothing new with me. what's up with you?

so i am at work again ... ugh. the good thing is that this is my last week here in this two room basement hell hole.

i am looking forward to moving into my new apartment in austin on saturday. i haven't been very happy in a while and i am hoping that moving back to austin will help. i kind of don't think it will help because i don't really have the will to do anything ... i mean if i could, i would really just like to lay in my new apartment and sleep. i don't want to have to walk around austin especially when it is so hot ... and it kind of sucks because i have no idea how to get around austin by myself in the car.

i think i am going to take my premed classes after all ... i am still not sure though. when i decide to just fuck it and drop the classes, i feel bad because of all the time i wasted doing things that would make my resume look impressive to medical schools. i mean ... i volunteered at the children's hospital all through high school, i took all the classes and tests that i needed for an i.b. high school diploma, i took extra math and science courses that i didn't have to take and could have instead taken an art class or even just an off period, i worked at utmb for three summers ... but on the other hand ... if i don't just drop now, i still have to do organic chemistry and physics for two semesters plus the labs, biochemistry, a prep class for my MCATs, take my MCATs, volunteer or intern for a local hospital and change bandages and see gross stuff, come back and work at utmb for possibly two more summers or find a job in austin that gives me some medical experience, do applications for medical schools, go on interviews, and actually go to medical school for at least four years and end up with some crappy doctor job that makes look at disgusting cases and that i will be unhappy at ... but on the other hand ... i will make a lot of money (but only after like 10 years of schooling and being an intern) and i can switch jobs and be a teacher or a counselor (which i could have done just out of college).

i think i am probably going to just end up taking the classes and probably not get into medical school anyway because my gpa is terrible and i don't think i could ever get a decent MCAT score.

i am now annoyed and i don't want to blog in this window anymore.

today is the longest day i have had so far ...

i went to campus at 8:00 am so that i could turn in a psychology assignment and then i had to wait until 11:00 am until my evolution class started ... during that time i did homework and got caught up with class notes and such. then i had class in which we discussed things that i learned in 7th grade. then at 12:30 pm i had to go to kinsolving dormitory to table for pbk honor sorority ... it was terrible. for the first 30 minutes i sat by myself and did homework while ignoring everyone who walked by. then the last 30 minutes i sat with the president of pbk and ignored people and felt guilty for doing so. then i had to go to chemistry until 3:30 pm. then i met jordan and went to his government class where his professor went on for a hour and a half about what democracy is and things to that sense. then we walked really fast across campus to our rock discussion ... now jordan is at his referee training thing while i am at kinsolving waiting for the first general meeting that we will hold for the semester ... i will not get home until 10:30 pm ... i miss my apartment.

also, i got a nasty note from my landlord:

you do not wish to know how close i was to calling a towing company!!! let me find a car parked like this again ... it will cost them over $150.00 to get it out!!!

pat
nmco

i am not amused. let me just argue this because i am so pissed. first of all there "seems" to be a lot of parking at my apartments but most of the spaces are impossible to get into. there are only five possible spaces that a normal person could park in. there are only three people who i know of who have cars at the apartment ... i know there are probably more but i don't know. there shouldn't be a problem getting a space but there is this indian fraternity right next door who insists on parking in all the spots at night and i am NOT about to park on the street and walk home. i was parked out of the way and i was supposed to get a parking permit from nmco but they never got it to me. i've lived there at least 4 months and they still haven't gotten their shit together. i have been a really good tenant too ... i haven't complained about all the things wrong with my apartment that they should have had fixed ... but now i will ...

things that i need fixed:

- one light on ceiling fan is broken due to wiring problem
- smoke detector is broken ... not just out of batteries
- plug behind my desk is not wired right

i am sooo irritated.

poop.

at this very moment i am in dire need of a tissue ... i hate my life. i am sitting with jordan in his government class that is excessively boring with the runniest nose in the history of runny noses. i've already gone through one travel pack sized box of kleenex and i am having the worst sinus headache ever. it is extremely cold outside and i am wearing the new green and turquoise scarf that stacy got me for christmas. it is nice and soft and really warm too! i love it and it has kept my head attached to my neck today.

i am already really stressed after only four days of classes. i am already behind in reading and have been having really early mornings and late nights. i will be holding myself hostage in my apartment this weekend so that i may catch up and maybe *hopefully* get ahead. i am trying to be very studious this semester ... unlike previous semesters so that i can salvage my gpa. i didn't pick great courses for that purpose as all my classes are hard ... i can't help being a bad planner. also, jordan has often noted that i spend more time sitting at my desk organizing all the stuff i have to get done than actually doing something.

just left my first psychology 418 lecture and i think my professor maybe a little off ... he went on all sorts of tangents and he was just way too chipper at 9 0'clock in the morning. he talked about how missing an alarm was not an excuse to miss a lecture or a lab session and how all students should have two alarm clocks - one that is run electrically and one run on batteries ... even if your electrical alarm clock says that it has a battery back-up, that battery back-up will not set off the set alarm ... then he goes on to talk about his alarm situation at home ... he has three ... two electric clocks and one battery operated one. then he went on to talk about how traffic cannot be an excuse ... he personally has 5 different routes to get to campus and likes to arrive at least two hours before his first scheduled lecture ... he apparently started teaching at ut when his wife was offered the opportunity to direct a region of veteran affairs and had to move to texas ... apparently the big mistake of his life was "marrying a liberated woman" ... he went on to say, "she's better looking and smarter ... but i have a puppy ..." he seems like a happy enough old man ...

my egyptian history professor is the classic boring looking professor except he likes the mummy movies and likes to act out the scenes. "oh, look! anubis is after meeee!"

also, in my history of rock and roll class there was this girl who was reading the syllabus who was standing by the door because there weren't enough seats actually said, "excuse me? um ... why aren't the beatles on the syllabus?" she said it in this annoying pretentious way which prompted about six annoyed people to say, "page 6" ... she was even more annoying because she was wearing this awkward "cool kid" blazer that was dumb looking ... and she had her ipod on during the entire class.
